Our Managing Director, Grant Evans, has spent his career figuring out why buildings leak, crack and fail—then designing solutions to stop it. With 19 years across housing management, building pathology and specialist surveying, he’s seen enough failures to know what works and what doesn’t.
Grant leads Surv-A with a commitment to accurate diagnostics, standards compliance and solutions that perform long-term.
Specialist Technical Services
At Surv-A, our services include structured condition surveys with moisture profiling and material assessment, defect investigation using intrusive and non-intrusive diagnostic techniques, and building pathology assessments tracing environmental and material factors influencing deterioration.
We also design waterproofing and gas protection systems to BS8102:2022 and BS8485:2015+A1:2019, supported by CAD detailing and installation monitoring. Additional services include leak detection, expert witness support, and CPD training for industry professionals.
